Will The Graco DuoGlider Click Connect Stroller Fit In Your Vehicle? The Specifications

As you imagine, a double stroller will definitely take up a lot of space in your vehicle compared to a single stroller. To ensure that this duo stroller is the right fit for you and your family, we have provided the specifications as below:

  • Stroller weight: 29.5 pounds
  • Stroller length: 36 inches
  • Stroller width: 20.5 inches
  • Stroller height: 41 inches
  • Folded length: 42 inches
  • Folded height: 29.5 inches
  • Folded width: 20.5 inches

While this stroller may be considered bulky and heavy, it is actually fairly lightweight for a double stroller and is even lighter than some single strollers on the market. However, this stroller, even when folded is bulky and not the best for parents who are on the go or constantly commuting. When you’re juggling two kids, the last thing you want to do is carry or lug around a heavy stroller. Some parents reported that they would have liked some sort of carrying handle or strap.

When it comes to the question of if this stroller will fit in your vehicle, this stroller should fit in vehicles with a bigger trunk space quite easily. However, for smaller or more compact vehicles it might be a tight fit or in some cases, it may not fit at all. We highly recommend comparing the stroller’s specifications with the measurements of your trunk to ensure it will work with your vehicle.

Will Your Child Fit The Graco DuoGlider Click Connect Stroller?

The Graco DuoGlider Click Connect Stroller will comfortably and securely accommodate 2 toddlers or young children up to 40 pounds each. When a SnugRide Click Connect infant car seat (sold separately) is used with this stroller, infants can be accommodated.

Your children will not only fit into this stroller but be comfortable on every ride or stroll thanks to a number of handy features. This stroller features 2 reclining stroller seats with individual canopies and footrests to ensure your children are safe and comfortable. The rear stroller seat reclines completely flat so you are able to create an infant bassinet for those long day outs. This provides both convenience and versatility so you are able to accommodate the needs of both children.

Parents reported that when the rear stroller seat is fully reclined, access to the storage basket is blocked and in order to retrieve items from the basket they would have to disturb their child.

Is The Graco DuoGlider Click Connect Stroller Easy To Setup And Install?

Parents found that the Graco DuoGlider Click Connect stroller was relatively straightforward to set up and install. Parents reported how helpful the user manual is with color-coded language options and important images highlighted in red. While assembly is rather easy, it does require the use of some tools and can take a bit longer than other double stroller models.

If you are planning to use a Graco SnugRide Click Connect infant car seat with this stroller, attaching the car seat to the stroller can be a tad tricky due to the stroller canopies getting in the way. The seats need to be clicked into place and then strapped for a secure attachment. It is important to note that the child trays need to be removed prior to attaching any car seats, this step did not appear to be clear in the user manual.

In terms of ease of use, this is where the Graco DuoGlider Click Connect stroller loses a few points. The stroller handle is not height-adjustable, which can cause discomfort for very tall and very short parents. Another issue was that the storage compartment on the parent’s tray is unfortunately not large enough to fit newer, bigger smartphone models.

However, it does make up for these issues in terms of ease of folding and cleaning. For ultimate convenience, this stroller has a one-hand, standing fold that keeps one hand free and does not require any bending. Once folded, this stroller auto-locks and self-stands. When it comes to cleaning, the stroller features removable and machine-washable seat cushions, which can be hung to dry.

How Safe Is Graco DuoGlider Click Connect Stroller For Your Child?

Your child’s safety is the most important factor for us when it comes to reviewing child safety products. When looking at the safety of a stroller, we tend to consider its brakes and harnesses. In terms of brakes, this stroller features double-action brakes that require the pushing of 2 pedals in order to engage the brakes. Parents did not report any issues or difficulties with the brakes.

However, parents did have issues with the harnesses as they did not tend to like that instead of the stroller seats having a 5-point harness each, they were only equipped with lap belts and shoulder straps (3-point harness). This issue is resolved if the stroller is being used with the infant car seat as you would be solely relying upon the car seat’s harness, which has been tested to meet or exceed US safety standards.

No stroller is perfect, and the DuoGlider Click Connect stroller is no exception. Parents reported various quality control issues, including loose wheels, which are potential safety hazards. We recommend contacting Graco customer service immediately if this happens to you and to not use the stroller again until it is safe to do so. In general, parents found that the wheels on this stroller felt flimsy. The wheels are foam filled plastic tires and appear to feel poorly constructed.

Optional Accessories

You and your children are planning to go out to the park and both of your kids insist on bringing along their favorite blankie or toy, however, throughout the day you constantly find yourself picking up their blankie/toy off the ground. Sound familiar? We’ve all been there but these affordable baby stroller pegs solve this issue by securing your children’s toys, blankies, and any other bits and bobs in order to have a stress-free day out. The LAT baby stroller pegs come in either a 4 or 6-pack with 3 different colors available, including ‘Cool (black & white) ’, ‘Grey’ (grey & white), and ‘Girl’ (assorted pink).

This baby stroller blanket is definitely essential for your infant, toddler, or child! While the stroller’s canopy will protect your child’s upper body, there is nothing protecting your little one’s legs from the rain or cold. This waterproof and windproof stroller blanket solves that problem immediately and is designed to clip onto either side of the stroller for a quick and simple setup.

This blanket is also multi-function as it can be used as a nursing cover, baby wrap blanket, sleeping blanket, or even as a playtime mat. The best part is that it is extremely affordable and comes in 5 cute and fun patterns.

When considering an alternative to the Graco DuoGlider Click Connect Stroller, there are definitely a few duo stroller options out there as child product companies tend to offer at least one in their range. We have decided to take a closer look at the Joovy Scooter X2 Double Stroller.

This double stroller features side-by-side stroller seats that accommodate children of both similar or different ages. Unfortunately, this double stroller does not accommodate any brand or model of an infant car seat. It can hold a total of 90 pounds, meaning 45 pounds per seat/child and the maximum age of use is 36 months.

There are 4 fun color combinations to choose from, including ‘Blueberry’, ‘Black’, ‘Charcoal’, and ‘Red’, compared to only one color available with the Graco DuoGlider, ‘Glacier’, a neutral gray/black color.

Here are some of its key features:

  • A narrow design of 30 inches that enables you to fit through standard doorways and aisles.
  • Each stroller seat’s recline and footrest can be adjusted independently of each other.
  • Features in-mesh seat pockets.
  • Includes 2 5-point harnesses.
  • A removable bumper bar.
  • An extra-large storage basket.
  • 2 cup holders for parents.
  • Zippered pockets to store your essentials and valuables.
  • Features both larger 7” front wheels and 9.5” rear wheels with sealed bearings to provide superior maneuverability.
  • An extra-large canopy.
  • One-hand recline system.
  • A linked parking brake.

The Good: Narrow design, features can be adjusted independently, and plenty of storage.

The Bad: Does not accommodate an infant car seat, push handle is not height-adjustable, and does not accommodate newborns.

Final Thoughts

It is no surprise that the Graco DuoGlider Click Connect Stroller is one of the most highly-rated double stroller models on the market. This is due to the ultimate convenience, functionality, safety, and comfort that it offers.

For families with one or more children, this double stroller is definitely a wise investment. It is designed to specifically meet the needs of both children and parents and for that, we highly recommend this travel system for all families. The only thing to keep in mind is that the Graco DuoGlider Click Connect Stroller does not accommodate nor is it compatible with any infant car seat and also is not suitable for newborns.

To sum up our review, here are the pros and cons:

  • Affordable.
  • Easy access, drop-down large storage basket.
  • Accepts 2 Graco SnugRide Click Connect infant car seats.
  • One-hand, standing fold.
  • Individual canopies and footrests.
  • A parent tray with 2 deep cup holders.
  • Removable and machine-washable seat cushions.
  • The parent tray does not accommodate larger smartphones.
  • The stroller handle is not height-adjustable.
  • Heavy and bulky.
  • A 3-point harness, instead of a 5-point harness.
